Prologue
The open sky shone bright blue and it'll soon be orange. It is noon just before sundown and everything is still except your heartbeat and the warmth of palm in your hand. She whispers,"forevera."
Suddenly you awake in Memphis, Tennessee having no clue in what the girl in your dream had said. Feeling dumfounded you remove your goose feathered blanket covered in sunlight. You walk to your car and open the cold steel or aluminum car door. And drove off to your day job in planet Hollywood and your day begins.
Chapter 1
Stars
Today I see………The sky and what lives in the outer space. Or am I just asleep? "Ouch!?" I snapped awake to a nail or spike poking me on my elbow. My eyes adjust to the bright, blinding my peripherals. I gaze at the wall. To my eyes expectations the wall was a cave wall that damp and a bit soggy. I extend my arm to feel the surface and as I expected the wall was damp, soggy, and was part of some sort of cave. I twisted around to look behind me and saw a blue rock or blob just laying right next to me. Puzzled I rubbed it, as I did so it moaned in a female's voice that was soft like silk.
Suddenly I remember who she was and who I was and where we spent our honey moon. I then rubbed her scales from behind she smoothly grinned. After, I noticed that her pearl white scales were reflecting the skies ocean-blue. I peered out of the cave and saw the valley not but one hour away by the dragons wing. And just beyond was the sun slowly rising. I whipped through the air to wake her for us to share a beautiful moment. (Like we didn't spend every special moment since we've met.) I rubbed her wings of beautiful pearl texture and sapphire edge. Jay twisted around facing me with aquamarine eyes squinting with puckered lips in confusion. Everest?" she spoke in a puzzled voice. I nodded and grinned. Jay sat up in a mid-fall by accident,
I extended my for helping her she accepted the aid. As she lifted herself up to a sitting position. I grinned at her and she looked at me with a lively wink. So?" I quivered to ask.
What?" Jay spoke in a pleading voice.
"Do you want to watch the sun rise over the valley with me?"
A bright pink appeared on her face as Jay blushed.
Of course my dear." She responded.
Jay then reached for my hand a grasped it firm yet softly. I hoisted her gorgeously light body to her feet. She then stole a kiss from my cheek. Then I stole a kiss from her lips. Jay pressed her hands on my broad chest. I shook my with a bright smile.
How was your restful night?" I asked with care in my voice.
"Well quakeful…..because of a nightmare "
"Oh my dearest you have nothing to fear. Remember our hearts are the most powerful weapon that we have. So vanquish your fear with you love."
"Thank you my I Shall not be quaked again."
"I hope not."
Jay shrugged while giggling. I then led her to the lip of the cave. There we sat admiring the peaceful sunrise. As morning arose we sat under near dead silence.
Jay turned to face me her face had concern and fear or an original sense of "quake".
"Evera?"
"Yes."
"Well about the nightmare…."
"Ok then explain it to me."
"Well it started with you and a thousand shinigami hording after you. And then you rescued me you were ripped to shreds spiritually and your body was lost in the abyss. Then I was kidnapped by a gang of hybrid dragonoids who enslaved me as a death tribute."
A moment of silence fell upon for a well fifteen minutes. I looked at her with a smirk and shook my head no. Then Jay drilled me a serious face of; "Please I really am scared about you dying and me not seeing you again."
I snatched her hand and kissed the top of her hand. As my lips met her smooth scaly hand. Jay bent her head and witnessed the kiss she blushed with dark red upon her cheeks.I lifted my crown leveled with her and our eyes locked. Slowly her blush began to fade then my cheeks began to brighten with pink. Then lifted her hand to my chin and brought my lips closer to hers, then Jay smoothly kissed my lips and as she did I returned her a favor in a small reply.
We soon lay on our backs waiting for the moon, in which unexpectedly we skipped breakfast and anything to do with food at all or even water. But without flaw or a sudden change in heart we lay there peacefully in the sun near the lip of the cave we currently occupied. But most of all there were no distractions and I felt quite dilly-dally, just us being lazy. This made me feel odd entirely. In feeling misplaced I sat up.
What's wrong?" Jay spoke concerned.
"Oh!! Nothing. Just…….."
What?!" She pleaded.
"Well I misplaced right now."
"About me?! About us?! About our relationship?!"
"No not those at all. What I mean is that am I really hear, with the dragoness of my life, or is it a cruel joke being played on me?"
"Everest!!"She spoke like she was concerned, cared about me or was really in love with me.
She stood up and walked in front of me. I saw tears swelled in her eyes like someone had died. Jay turned and faced me.
"Is this real enough for you?"
Jay tackled me to the ground with tears still in her eyes and hugging my neck, and then spoke.
"My love is only for you and our marriage."
She felt overwhelmed and held me even tighter than before. I wrapped my arms around her and spoke.
"I'm sorry. Don't forget I quake too."
"I know don't scare me like that!!"
Okay." I responded with a chuckle
Jay glared at me with a disapproving look on her face. We then lay there one on top of the other well jay on top of me. But other than, that the hours blitzed by like breeze.
Night soon fell and Jay huddled in a damp corner. Looking down I asked.
"Looking for a warm place to rest my blossom?"
Jay twisted her neck to see my face.
And your my for Evera" stone of love" She answered in a lusty tone.
Excuse me are you lusting me?" I said in a fake voice.
Why yes I am." Jay said in a British voice.
"How dare you lust me."
I do dare!!" She snapped.
Too stunned to talk I just stood there in a confused thought.
Evera?" Jay outburst.
"Yes my dear."
"Um? Did I scare you or discouraged you?"
"No. It's just that I've never seen you act so…….."
Mean" She interrupted.
"No. Just protective and strong."
